Arbour Guest House is a comfortable Victorian Villa adjoining the Gathering Restaurant and O'Donnell's Irish Pub. The accommodation is situated within the town centre and easy distance of shops, the ferry terminal and the train station.
The Guest House has seven letting rooms, all comfortably furnished, with colour T.V., complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, and a hairdryer in each room. The Gathering Restaurant is an original Victorian Banqueting Hall, built in 1882 to cater for visiting royalty and nobility. Recommended by the 'Taste of Scotland', the restaurant has also recently been awarded a 3 STB medallions of merit in recognition of an excellent standard in food, service and ambience. 'The Gathering is without doubt the best Restaurant in Oban' - Rough Guide 2002.
Wonderful food in wonderful surroundings!
O'Donnell's Irish Pub, which is downstairs from the Gathering, also does very good food, and has lively bands playing most nights. It is licensed till 2 a.m.
We are happy to cater for groups, and offer Dinner, B&B from £35 per person.
